south jersey roadways off to a quiet start this morning. the mass transit running with no delays. lauren, back over to you. dark i boro police say they are close tore charge something one in connection with the shooting death of one of their own officers. jenny joyce is covering this story. she joins us life from darn i police with the details hi, jenny. >> reporter: yesterday mark hudson's girlfriend was charged with threatening him and that is the the precursor for more serious charges to be filed in relation to his death. twenty-six year-old mark hudson was shot and killed saturday afternoon inside the glenn olden home he shared with his live in girl friend. police say he was shot with his department issued handgun and his girlfriend was home at the the time. she was taking in for questioning over the weekend and now charged with terroristic threats. hudson serves as a volunteer fire fight inner yeadon and part-time police officer in darby. his professional reputation was step air but his boss, darby boro chief robert smith said his personal life was not

always rosie. he was in the trouble relationship. at one point hudson had a pfa against her. smith thinks the girlfriend will be charged with hudson's death the bye it the is just a matter of time. >> he didn't shoot himself i'm sure of that because forensic evidence proves he didn't shoot himself. a lot of ways officer hudson was being coerced by her. from pfa is filed against an officer you have to take away his weapons and now he can no longer work. >> it is hard. the it is really hard. >> you are emotional. >> yeah. >> when you watch a kid grow up like that, it is hard. i can't even think about how his mother is feeling right now. >> reporter: the investigation continues, family members continue to mourn the the the loss, and to help honor hudson's life is there a candle light vigil scheduled for tomorrow at 7:00 which is the scene of the shooting which is mark hudson's glenn olden home lauren.

>> jenny, thanks very much. resident in darby town ship are dealing with the loss of the neighbor after a jackson street house fire. fire fighters arrived the two home already engulf in smoke and flames. damage was so bad zero homes were evacuated and fire fighters had had to push back. >> we never want to see that. our operators have one job and that is to get our passengers to the destination safely. this guy wants to pull out a knife and threaten him. it just does president make sense. >> it is a shame. they get paid well were you not enough to be hurt. >> we have signs all over our bus's salting an operator is a crime, and we are serious about that. >> reporter: fire fighters reported seeing a blue flame during a fire which means gas in the area neighbors say man found dead in the basement of the home was known as mr. duke, he was a scrap metal collector and other metal object surrounding his home. a court hearing for two temple football players a accused of beating another student at an off campus party

back in january. dion dawkins hasan red dick were suspended from the team. twenty years olds were charged with aggravated assault simple assault criminal conspiracy and recklessly endangering another person. they are out on bail. in new jersey governor's office will appeal a ruling that will require the state to make an addition at 1.6 billion collar payment to the pension systems. the that is the full payment required under the 2011 pension reform law that the governor had taken out of the budget. lawmakers don't know where they will get the money before the even of the fiscal year. back to the septa story, septa driver threatened by a pass evening they are morning. police hope you can identify the suspect. fox 29's steve keeley live at septa headquarters with more on that, hi steve. >> reporter: we had our tapes out of order you heard jerry williams talking about, that the drivers are real concerned after three a attacks in just one week f we can, lets run that surveillance video again. this guy is recognizable.

all of the september bus driver did was tell the the guy to get out of the the way so people can get on and off his bus. septa a has high definition surveillance video cameras both inside and outside the buses. this is another disturbing reason why they need them. this passenger was very recognizable to anybody who knows him or ride the the number 23 bus at germantown and erie avenue in tioga on a regular basis. they in a know him. he was blocking aisle and stairway and driver's view of the door as passengers were getting on and off. when the septa driver wants him to move the the guy goes off, pulls out a knife and threatened instead of getting off like he was going to do anyway at erie avenue. police are hoping somebody can call in a tip. if this guy will pull a knife on the september driver in the daytime in front of the people, he will pull a knife on anybody anytime anywhere else. before he can stab somebody and kill somebody, they'd like to get him off the street and off the septa buses. this is among three attacks on

drivers, just in the past week, you will will's recall, friday we had one in the morning at broad and lehigh and not like drivers don't have enough to focus on already piloting a multi ton vehicle in busy philly streets. they are cashier and sometimes bouncer door men. they could use a few other bouncers on some of the buses which something like this happens, lauren. >> reporter: steve keeley thanks for that update. 4:08 this morning. police hope these new images will help catch teenagers who attack another teen at a septa a stop. beating happened earlier this morning. the victim was waiting for the train on the broad street line near locust when group of boys surround him and then attack him. he ended up in the the hospital. if you know any of the kids seen in those pictures you are asked to call the the philadelphia police. lansdale police are investigate nag pope eighth picture and video sharing at north penn high school. allegations first surfaced last friday forcing district officials to e-mail parents. they say students at the school may have been involved

in creating and sharing of inappropriate pictures. the images are believed for nude female student. yesterday some students threatened a walk out in response to the allegations. instead the school held talk sessions so students could voice their concerns. in addition the school's principal created an on line video for community to view about the allegations. >> i continue to urge anyone request any knowledge that would contribute to the investigation of such activity to directly contact his or her local police department. >> reporter: the montgomery county district attorney's office is heading that investigation. also in montgomery county police have arrested an alleged peeping tom, three two-year old nicholas, is accused of recording woman in the changing rooms of a target in abington. the authorities say, he used a ballpoint pen with the built in video camera to take the pictures. he claims he never up loaded the photos to the internet. police believe this started back in november until he was

caught this past weekend. jury has awarded more than $38 million in damages to the families of two women killed by a co-worker at kraft foot plant four and a a half year ago. le tone use brown and tanya wilson were killed by an employee who thought co workers were spraying her with toxic chemical. yvonne miller is serving two life terms for the rampage. attorneys for 29 families say security guards failed to protect the the employees. but the company vows an appeal saying its personnel quote acted with courage in the face of a direct threat to their own lives. the lawyer for convicted cop killer mumia abu-jamal, wants to know why his client has been hospitalized. he is in critical care at the a pennsylvania hospital, but prison officials will not tell the lawyer why. abu-jamal is serving life in prison for the murder of philadelphia police officer daniel faulkner. meanwhile a lawsuit in response to the the taped commencement speech given by him is being reviewed in federal court.

police in minnesota says a missing college student went in the mississippi river. they are trying to recover her body. they have video of jennifer howell entering the river but they will not say whether she jumped in or fell in but only that she was alone. the 22-year old went missing friday after leaving a bar. her purse was found a few blocks away. police say university of california berkley player who disappeared after leaving a party was killed by a car as he ran across a los angeles freeway. nineteen year-old, died early saturday. the vasquez on spring break in los angeles had left the the party to take a walk. woman said he ran in front of her and she was unable to avoid hitting him. vasquez was not carrying an id, when set out a missing persons search until the coroner identified him. police in florida are investigating an accident that left eight members of the church dead and ten others injured on friday. fox's kelly wright, reports.

>> reporter: close community in southern florida is grieving following deaths of eight people traveling in the church van. the accident happening early monday morning in blades county when the oversized van ran a stop sign crossed all four lanes of the the highway and ended up in the canal. the driver and seven passengers died at the scene while ten others were injured. police say it appears that there were too many people inside of the van. >> we will determine how much seats were inside of the van and how many people could be safely seated inside the van appropriate thely. >> all of the victims belong to the independent haitian assembly of god church in fort pierce florida they were returning from the palm sunday day sieve sows at the time of the crash. family members of the victims are in shock. >> i just seen him yesterday i just seen him yesterday and he is not even here right now. he is someone that has been here for me for a long time. as far as on my dad's side like it is not easy, it is not
